About Us
Chiho McCord ( Chichi ) was born in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, Japan. As an accredited Kimono dresser, Chichi professionally offers formal and informal dressings, instruction and demonstrations.
In 2008, she moved to Calgary Canada with her family where she continues to instruct and run a kimono rental business. Since 2023, in addition to kimono rentals, she has started selling kimonos. All the kimonos are imported from kimono shops in Japan. She promotes the wearing of kimono for everyone, regardless of their nationality or gender, and makes it possible for people to experience a little bit of Japan even without traveling there.
